Yahoo-backed Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Taotao has announced that it will go live on May 30th, 2019. The exchange will offer Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) trading at launch and will add more assets soon. Yahoo Japan owns a major stake in Taotao.
In addition, the exchange will also offer leverage trading to users of the platform, with three more cryptocurrencies add to the list of options – Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC).
Last year, Yahoo Finance had launched a feature that allowed users to buy BTC, ETH and LTC in the US. Yahoo has joined the likes of tech giants such as Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft which are already making inroads in the space.
