Binance’s Singapore Branch, DEX Mainnet to Launch Later this Month

Leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance is going to open its Singapore branch in April. Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the charismatic CEO of Binance, announced this development at the Deconomy conference earlier this week. Binance had first announced its plans to set up operations in Singapore last year.

Another big announcement was regarding the Binance DEX mainnet which is all set to be launched later this month. The decentralised exchange is powered by Binance’s proprietary blockchain – Binance Chain. Binance had launched the DEX testnet in February and also offered rewards for testing its new DEX.

The exchange already has offices in Malta and Uganda. In addition, the exchange had also hinted at the possibility of expansion in Argentina. It is good to see Binance becoming a truly global exchange. Binance is also expanding its presence in India through meetups across various cities.
