Indian exchange Bitbns has introduced crypto-to-crypto trading on its platform with Tether (USDT) as the base pair. Bitbns users will now be able to trade in the USDT market, in addition to the INR market. Currently, users can only trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP) and Ethereum (ETH) in the USDT market. The exchange said in the official blog that it will add more cryptocurrency pairs with USDT soon.

The exchange also tweeted about it:

The trading went live from today i.e January 16, 2019. Last month, Bitbns had introduced P2P with USDT which allows users to deposit and withdraw INR directly with USDT. With this new feature, USDT will play yet another integral role on the platform.

Credit must be given to Indian cryptocurrency exchanges which are continuing to offer new features to its users. While the RBI banking ban was indeed a huge setback, Indian exchanges have kept the crypto fire burning in India through user-friendly features.
