US-based cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has launched its own custody service called Gemini Custody. The custody solution supports 18 cryptocurrencies which include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Gemini dollar (GUSD), 0x (ZRX), Augur (REP), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Bread (BRD), Dai (DAI), Decentraland (MANA), Enjin (ENJ), Flexacoin (FXC), Kyber Network (KNC), Loom Network (LOOM), Maker (MKR) and OmiseGo (OMG).
Gemini Custody will allow customers to check balances, download statements, initiate withdrawals and grant auditors access to data. It will also allow customers to trade their assets on the Gemini exchange without waiting for them to be transferred from cold storage.
Gemini has been making some swift moves this year, with owners Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss reportedly in talks to collaborate with Facebook Libra. It had also launched its services in Australia last month.
